Remembering Michael Jackson

Thalía shares her thoughts and feelings about death of a music icon Michael Jackson, posted in her official website and forum.

The last music icon of the world dies, which began to sing and dance to the entire world to break social, race and language barriers, making mourn, laugh and feel the bristly skin with so much energy concentrated in one man.

Not long ago and felt a collective sadness, which they feel in your chest and leave you overwhelmed. It is a feeling of shock and loss to be specific. And without any option, this loss makes you relive personal moments of life that were accompanied by the “soundtrack” of his music and innovative imagery of their videos.

Michael set me since my teens, being a simple continuous and unstoppable inspiration.

He and I think that artists like The Beatles, Elvis [Presley] and Frank Sinatra changed the rhythm of the planet both musically and culturally.
We did the moonwalk dance, learn the choreography of Thriller dreaming of a better world with We are the World and imagine life as a magical tale where anything is possible.
