Thalía admits Lunada’s failure
Mexican singer Thalía admitted this week the failure of her most recent record production, Lunada, for which she ended her contractual relationship with her record company (EMI Music), with which she published 12 records that sold 20 million copies.
It seems, the Piel Morena singer’s music will be distributed from now on through the record company (Casablanca Records) owned by her husband, Tommy Mottola.
It’s been reported that the first production for her new record company would include a duet with British star Robbie Williams.
The artist accepted that her last record, Lunada, didn’t have the promotion needed, mainly because she had just become a mother for the first time and she was also sick because of a tick sting which caused her Lyme disease.
Duet with British pop artist Robbie Williams would be the first single of her new production to be launched, which would be put on sale in 2009.
